Plastic Engineering Day 2026

Gain insight into plastics, technology and career opportunities

Plastic Engineering Day brings together students and plastics companies for a day of professional inspiration and a chance to learn more about your career opportunities.

Plastic Engineering Day brings together students and plastics companies for a day of professional inspiration and a chance to learn more about your career opportunities.

During the day, you will gain insight into how plastics are used in practice – from product development and manufacturing to new material solutions.

You will have the opportunity to meet companies from the plastics industry and learn about their work, projects and needs for engineers.

You can also have informal conversations about internships, student jobs and career paths.

The programme will include professional presentations on current topics within plastics and materials technology.

At the exhibition, you can experience products and materials up close and gain a better understanding of the solutions developed within the industry.

The event is for anyone with an interest in materials, manufacturing and technology who wants to know more about opportunities in the plastics industry.

What is Plastic Engineering Denmark?

Take a look around – plastic is part of far more products than you might think. When used responsibly, it helps solve some of society’s major challenges.
But plastic also creates problems when it is used incorrectly or not recycled well enough. This is where new solutions are needed – and where engineers can make a real difference.
Plastic Engineering Denmark is Plastindustriens initiative to focus on exactly that: how plastic can be used more intelligently, and how you as an engineer can help drive that development.
